मित्राणि द्रष्टकामेन पुत्राणां च बलाबलम्‌ | अशोच्या: कुरवो राजन्‌ येषां त्वमनुशासिता

Transliteration

mitrāṇi draṣṭakāmena putrāṇāṃ ca balābalam | aśocyāḥ kuravo rājan yeṣāṃ tvam anuśāsitā

Translation

ຢຸທິສຖິຣະກ່າວວ່າ: “ຂໍພຣະອົງ, ບັນດາເຈົ້າຊາຍກຸຣຸບໍ່ຄວນໃຫ້ໂສກເສົ້າ—ເພາະພຣະອົງແມ່ນຜູ້ປົກຄອງ ແລະຊີ້ນໍາພວກເຂົາ. ບໍ່ວ່າຈະປາດຖະໜາເຫັນຄວາມສັດຊື່ຂອງມິດ ຫຼືຈະທົດລອງແຮງແລະອ່ອນຂອງລູກຊາຍ—ພາຍໃຕ້ວິໄນຂອງຜູ້ປົກຄອງ ຊະຕາກໍາຂອງພວກເຂົາຍ່ອມເດີນຕາມລະບຽບທີ່ພຣະອົງວາງໄວ້; ບ່ອນທີ່ໄດ້ໃຊ້ຄວາມຮັບຜິດຊອບ ແລະການສອນສັ່ງແລ້ວ ຄວາມໂສກເສົ້າຍ່ອມບໍ່ສົມ.”
