Educational Q&A

The arrival of a world-traversing ṛṣi underscores that royal power is accountable to dharma. A king’s court is not merely political; it is a moral arena where the testimony and guidance of sages carry decisive authority.

Vaiśampāyana narrates that Nārada, radiant and accompanied by other sages, comes to the royal assembly hall. His entrance sets up forthcoming counsel or revelations that will influence events in the court.
