वैशम्पायन उवाच
A righteous king upholds dharma through generous, orderly hospitality—providing guests not merely welcome words but practical, dignified support (shelter, food, clothing) suited to their needs in every season.
In the context of royal arrangements, Dharmarāja orders large-scale preparations: thousands of artisans construct separate, well-equipped residences for visiting brāhmaṇas and their accompanying groups, ensuring comfortable lodging and abundant provisions.
