Educational Q&A

The verse highlights how extraordinary skill and immense wealth can create dazzling external splendor; in the Sabha narrative this magnificence also becomes a stage for testing restraint, humility, and political prudence—virtues that prevent prosperity from turning into pride and conflict.

Vaiśampāyana describes the marvelous assembly-hall: built from the finest materials, with jewel-made walls and gates, richly decorated and filled with wealth, crafted with exceptional artistry by the master builder identified with Maya (the Dānava architect).
