पृष्ठतोडनुययौ कृष्णमृत्विक्पौरजनै: सह । (छत्रं शतशलाकं च दिव्यमाल्योपशोभितम् । वैडूर्यमणिदण्डं च चामीकरविभूषितम् ।। दधार तरसा भीमश्छत्र तच्छार््डधन्वने । उपारुहा[ रथं शीघ्रं चामरव्यजने सिते ।। नकुल: सहदेवश्न धूयमानौ जनार्दनम् ।) स तथा क्रातृभि: सर्वे: केशव: परवीरहा
pṛṣṭhato 'nuyayau kṛṣṇam ṛtvik-paurajanaiḥ saha | chatraṃ śataśalākaṃ ca divya-mālyopaśobhitam | vaiḍūryamaṇidaṇḍaṃ ca cāmīkaravibhūṣitam || dadhāra tarasā bhīmaś chatraṃ tac chārṅgadhanvane | upāruhya rathaṃ śīghraṃ cāmaravyajane site || nakulaḥ sahadevaś ca dhūyamānau janārdanam || sa tathā krātṛbhiḥ sarvaiḥ keśavaḥ paravīrahā ||
ໄວສັມປາຍະນະ ກ່າວວ່າ: ຕາມຫຼັງພຣະກຣິດສະນະ ມີພຣະພິທີກອນ (ຣິດວິກ) ແລະຊາວເມືອງເດີນຕາມ. ພີມະ ດ້ວຍຄວາມຮີບຮ້ອນ ໄດ້ຖືຮົ່ມພຣະຣາຊາອັນວິຈິດ ມີຊີ່ງຮ້ອຍຊີ່ງ ປະດັບດ້ວຍພວງມາລາທິບ ມີດ້ານຝັງແກ້ວໄວດູຣະຍະ ແລະປະດັບຄຳ ກາງເທິງພຣະອົງຜູ້ຖືຄັນທະນູສາຣັງກະ. ນະກຸລ ແລະ ສະຫະເທວ ຂຶ້ນລົດຢ່າງວ່ອງໄວ ແລະໂບກພັດຈາມະຣະສີຂາວສອງອັນ ເຫນືອຈະນາຣະດະນະ. ດັ່ງນັ້ນ ເກສະວະ ຜູ້ປະຫານວີຣະຊົນຂອງສັດຕູ ໄດ້ເຄື່ອນຂະບວນໄປຂ້າງໜ້າ ໂດຍມີຍາດພີ່ນ້ອງທັງປວງຄອຍປະຄອງ.
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse highlights dharmic courtly conduct: honoring a revered guest/leader through proper public reception and service. The ethical emphasis is on recognizing worth (guṇa) and role through respectful action—symbols like the parasol and fans express legitimate honor, social order, and disciplined attendance rather than mere display.
Kṛṣṇa proceeds with a formal escort: priests and citizens follow; Bhīma holds a richly adorned royal parasol over him; Nakula and Sahadeva, having mounted the chariot, wave white yak-tail fans. Kṛṣṇa is described with heroic epithets as he moves onward attended by kinsmen.
