महाराज! सब ओर भागनेवाले योद्धाओंके कारण आपके पुत्रोंकी वह विशाल सेना भयभीत और व्याकुल हो उठी ।। तिष्ठ तिषछ्ठेति च ततः सूतपुत्रस्य जल्पत: । नावतिष्ठति सा सेना वध्यमाना महात्मभि:,सूतपुत्र कर्ण “ठहरो, ठहरो” की पुकार करता ही रह गया; परंतु महामनस्वी पाण्डवोंकी मार खाती हुई वह सेना किसी तरह ठहर न सकी
tiṣṭha tiṣṭheti ca tataḥ sūtaputrasya jalpataḥ |
na avatiṣṭhati sā senā vadhyamānā mahātmabhiḥ ||
ສັນຊະຍາກ່າວວ່າ: ໃນເວລານັ້ນ ກະນະ ບຸດແຫ່ງສູຕະ (ຄົນຂັບລົດສົງຄາມ) ຮ້ອງຊ້ຳໆວ່າ «ຢຸດ! ຢຸດ!» ແຕ່ກອງທັບນັ້ນກໍບໍ່ຢຸດເລີຍ ເພາະຖືກປານດະວະຜູ້ມີໃຈຍິ່ງໃຫຍ່ ຟັນສັງຫານຢ່າງຫນັກ. ເມື່ອນັກຮົບພາກັນຫນີໄປທຸກທິດ ກອງທັບໃຫຍ່ຂອງບຸດທ່ານກໍຕົກໃຈ ແລະວຸ້ນວາຍ ບໍ່ອາດຕັ້ງຕົວໄດ້ທ່າມກາງການຂ້າຟັນນັ້ນ.
