कृपाचार्य युद्धस्थलमें महाधनुर्धर युधामन्युपर टूट पड़े और बलवान् कृतवमनि उत्तमौजापर आक्रमण किया ।। भीमसेन: कुरून् सर्वान् पुत्रांश्ष तव मारिष । सहानीकान् महाबाहुरेक एव न्यवारयत्,आर्य! महाबाहु भीमसेनने अकेले ही सेनासहित समस्त कौरवों और आपके पुत्रोंको आगे बढ़नेसे रोक दिया
sañjaya uvāca |
kṛpācāryo yuddhasthale mahādhanurdharo yudhāmanyupar tūṭa pade ca balavān kṛtavarmā uttamaujasi samākrāmat ||
bhīmasenaḥ kurūn sarvān putrāṃś ca tava māriṣa |
sahānīkān mahābāhur eka eva nyavārayad ārya ||
ສັນຊະຍະ ກ່າວວ່າ: ໃນສະໜາມຮົບ ຄຣິປາຈາຣະ ອາຈານຜູ້ເກັ່ງກ້າດ້ານອາວຸດ ໄດ້ພຸ້ນເຂົ້າໃສ່ ຢຸທາມັນຍຸ ນັກທະນູຜູ້ຍິ່ງໃຫຍ່; ແລະ ກຣິຕະວັຣມາ ຜູ້ແຂງແກ່ ກໍໄດ້ບຸກໂຈມ ອຸດຕະມະອົຊາ. ໂອ ພະຣາຊາຜູ້ນ່າເຄົາລົບ! ບີມະເສນ ຜູ້ມີແຂນແຂງ ໄດ້ຢືນຕ້ານຢູ່ພຽງຄົນດຽວ ສະກັດກັ້ນການຮຸກຄືບຂອງຊາວກຸຣຸທັງຫມົດ ພ້ອມດ້ວຍພະຣາຊະບຸດຂອງພະອົງ ແມ່ນແມ່ນວ່າພວກເຂົາຈະມາພ້ອມກອງຫນ່ວຍຫຼາຍກໍຕາມ.
