ततस्ते तावका योधा धृष्टद्युम्नमुपाद्रवन् । सिंहनादरवं कृत्वा ततो युद्धमवर्तत,तब आपके समस्त योद्धा सिंहनाद करके धृष्टद्युम्नपर टूट पड़े। फिर वहाँ घोर युद्ध होने लगा
tatas te tāvakā yodhā dhṛṣṭadyumnam upādravan | siṃhanāda-ravaṃ kṛtvā tato yuddham avartata ||
ສັນຊະຍະໄດ້ກ່າວວ່າ: ແລ້ວບັນດານັກຮົບຂອງພວກເຈົ້າ ກໍພາກັນຮຸກເຂົ້າໃສ່ ທຣິສຕະດຸມນະ; ພວກເຂົາຮ້ອງສຽງຮົບດັ່ງສິງໂຕ ແລ້ວການປະລະທີ່ດຸເດືອດກໍເກີດຂຶ້ນໃນສະໜາມນັ້ນ.
संजय उवाच
The verse highlights how war is propelled by collective fervor—battle-cries, pride, and group momentum—often overpowering restraint. Ethically, it points to the danger of letting excitement and hostility replace discernment (viveka), even when one is acting within a warrior-code context.
Sañjaya reports to Dhṛtarāṣṭra that the Kaurava fighters, shouting a lion-like roar, rush to attack Dhṛṣṭadyumna. Their charge triggers an intense clash, signaling a new surge of violence around the Pāṇḍava commander.
