Even amid violent conflict, the epic highlights ordered duty and loyalty: warriors protect their leader and uphold their chosen cause through disciplined solidarity, courage, and readiness to sacrifice.
Sañjaya describes the Draupadeyas, battle-eager and powerfully armed, forming a protective guard around Dhṛṣṭadyumna (Drupada’s son), emphasizing their coordinated defence and fierce momentum in the Kurukṣetra war.
