Karṇa’s Pressure on the Pāñcālas; Duryodhana Disabled; Arjuna’s Counter-Advance
हंसस्य पतितं काको बलवानाशुविक्रम: । तब वहाँ आये हुए सारे कौए जोर-जोरसे हँसने लगे और आपसमें बोले--“भला यह हंस एक ही उड़ानसे सौ प्रकारकी उड़ानोंको कैसे जीत सकता है? यह कौआ बलवान् और शीघ्रतापूर्वक उड़नेवाला है; अतः सौमेंसे एक ही उड़ानद्वारा हंसकी उड़ानको पराजित कर देगा'
haṃsasya patitaṃ kāko balavān āśu-vikramaḥ |
“ກາກໂຕໜຶ່ງໄດ້ພຸ້ນເຂົ້າໃສ່ຫົງ—ມັນແຂງແຮງ ແລະວ່ອງໄວໃນການຈູ່ໂຈມ.” ແລ້ວກາກທັງຫຼາຍທີ່ມາຊຸມນຸມຢູ່ນັ້ນກໍຫົວເຮາະດັງໆ ແລະເວົ້າກັນວ່າ: “ຫົງນີ້ຈະຊະນະການບິນຮ້ອຍແບບໄດ້ແນວໃດ ດ້ວຍການບິນພຽງແບບດຽວ? ກາກນີ້ແຂງແຮງ ແລະໄວ; ດັ່ງນັ້ນ ໃນຮ້ອຍແບບນັ້ນ ພຽງແບບດຽວກໍພໍຈະປະລາດການບິນຂອງຫົງໄດ້!”
