ततस्तानस्यत: सर्वान्‌ द्रौणेर्बाणान्‌ महात्मन: । जानानोअप्यक्षयान्‌ पाण्ड्योडशातयत्‌ पुरुषर्षभ:,पुरुषशिरोमणि पाण्ड्यने बाण चलाते हुए महामनस्वी अश्वत्थामाके उन सब बाणोंको अक्षय जानते हुए भी काट डाला

Transliteration

tatas tān asyataḥ sarvān drauṇer bāṇān mahātmanaḥ | jānann apy akṣayān pāṇḍyo 'śātayat puruṣarṣabhaḥ ||

Translation

ສັນຊະຍະກ່າວວ່າ: ແລ້ວນັ້ນ ກະສັດປານດະຍະ—ຜູ້ເປັນດັ່ງງົວຜູ້ໃນຫມູ່ມະນຸດ—ໄດ້ທຳລາຍລູກສອນທັງປວງທີ່ມະຫາຈິດ ບຸດຂອງດໂຣນ (ອັສວັດຖາມັນ) ກຳລັງຍິງມາ. ແມ່ນແຕ່ຮູ້ວ່າອາວຸດເຫຼົ່ານັ້ນບໍ່ຜິດພາດ ກໍຍັງຕັດມັນລົງ—ສະແດງຄວາມກ້າຫານມັ່ນຄົງ ແລະຝີມືອັນຊຳນານທ່າມກາງຈັນຍາບັນສົງຄາມອັນໂຫດຮ້າຍ.
