Droṇa’s intensified assault and the Pāṇḍava response
सिन्धुराज जयद्रथ, कलिंगनरेश और आपके पुत्र विकर्ण--ये तीनों उनके दक्षिण पार्वका आश्रय ले कवच बाँधकर खड़े हुए
Sindhurāja Jayadrathaḥ, Kaliṅganareśaś ca tava putro Vikarṇaś ca—ete trayaḥ tasya dakṣiṇa-pārśvam āśritya kavacaṃ baddhvā tiṣṭhanti.
ສັນຊະຍະກ່າວວ່າ: ພຣະຣາຊາແຫ່ງສິນທຸ ໄຊຍະດຣະຖະ, ພຣະຣາຊາແຫ່ງກະລິງຄະ, ແລະບຸດຂອງທ່ານ ວິກັຣນະ—ທັງສາມນີ້ໄດ້ຢືນຢູ່ຢ່າງໝັ້ນຄົງ ໂດຍອາໄສຢູ່ປີກຂວາຂອງທ່ານ ຫຼັງຈາກຄາດເກາະກຳບັງແລ້ວ.
संजय उवाच

Sañjaya reports to Dhṛtarāṣṭra that Jayadratha, the king of Kaliṅga, and Vikarṇa have armed themselves and taken position on the right flank of their side’s key figure/formation, indicating a deliberate defensive or supportive deployment within the battle array.
