tataḥ prasādayāmāsur umāṃ rudraṃ ca te surāḥ | abhavac ca punar bāhur yathāprakṛti vajradhinaḥ ||

व्यास उवाच
When divine powers are affronted or cosmic order is disturbed, restoration comes not through force but through humility and proper propitiation; grace (prasāda) follows sincere appeasement, returning things to their rightful state.
The devas pacify Umā and Rudra, and as a result Indra’s arm—previously altered or impaired—returns to its former, natural condition, indicating reconciliation and the reestablishment of balance.
