आससादरणे द्रोणं तदा55सीत् तुमुलं महत् । इसी प्रकार पांचालराजकुमार धृष्टद्युम्नने भी आपकी विशाल सेनामें घुसकर रणभूमिमें द्रोणाचार्यपर चढ़ाई की। उस समय बड़ा भयंकर युद्ध होने लगा ।। नैव नस्तादृशं युद्ध दृष्टपूर्व न च श्रुतम्
āsasāda raṇe droṇaṃ tadā āsīt tumulaṃ mahat | naiva nas tādṛśaṃ yuddhaṃ dṛṣṭapūrvaṃ na ca śrutam ||
ພີມເສນາ ກ່າວວ່າ: «ແລ້ວໃນສະໜາມຮົບ ລາວໄດ້ພຸ້ນເຂົ້າຈົນປະຈັນໜ້າກັບ ໂດຣນະ; ໃນຂະນະນັ້ນ ການປະທະອັນໃຫຍ່ຫຼວງ ແລະອື້ອອຶງກໍເກີດຂຶ້ນ. ພວກເຮົາບໍ່ເຄີຍເຫັນ ຫຼືແມ່ນແຕ່ໄດ້ຍິນ ສົງຄາມເຊັ່ນນີ້ຫຼາຍ່ອນ».
