श्रीवायुदेव उवाच
The verse frames violent conflict within a dharmic-cosmic rationale: when destructive forces become unconquerable by ordinary means, a divinely purposed birth may occur to restore balance by removing enemies of the gods (i.e., forces opposed to righteous order).
Vāyu declares that a particular adversary is so formidable that even the combined might of devas and asuras cannot defeat him in battle; therefore Vāyu states he has taken birth specifically to bring about that foe’s death, along with the death of other god-hating enemies.
