द्रोणपर्व — अध्याय १६२: प्रातःसंध्यायां युद्धप्रवृत्तिः तथा रजोमेघे संमूढता
यावत् त्वां निशितैर्बाणै: प्रेषयामि यमक्षयम् । 'धृष्टद्युम्न! स्थिर होकर दो घड़ी और प्रतीक्षा कर लो” तबतक मैं तुम्हें अपने पैने बाणोंद्वारा यमलोक भेज देता हूँ!
yāvat tvāṃ niśitair bāṇaiḥ preṣayāmi yamakṣayam | dhṛṣṭadyumna sthiraḥ bhūtvā dve ghaṭike ca pratīkṣasva ||
ສັນຊະຍະ ກ່າວວ່າ: “ທຣິສຕະດຸມນະ! ຈົ່ງຢືນໃຫ້ໝັ້ນ ແລະຄອຍອີກພຽງສອງ ກະຕິກາ (ຊົ່ວຄາວສັ້ນໆ) ເທົ່ານັ້ນ; ຈົນກ່ອນນັ້ນ ຂ້າຈະສົ່ງເຈົ້າດ້ວຍລູກສອນຄົມກຣີບຂອງຂ້າ ໄປສູ່ອານາຈັກອັນບໍ່ສູນສິ້ນຂອງພະຍົມ!”
