Alāyudha’s Resolve to Confront Bhīma
त्वमीशेशेश्वरेशान प्रभो वर्धस्व माधव । प्रभवाप्यय सर्वस्य सर्वात्मन् पृुथुलोचन,“विशाल नेत्रोंवाले माधव! आप ईश्वरोंके भी ईश्वर और शासक हैं। प्रभो! आपका अभ्युदय हो। सर्वात्मन्! आप ही सबके उत्पत्ति और प्रलयके कारण हैं
tvam īśeśeśvareśāna prabho vardhasva mādhava | prabhavāpyaya sarvasya sarvātmān pṛthulocana ||
ສັນຊະຍະກ່າວວ່າ: “ໂອ ມາທະວະ ຜູ້ມີນັຍນາກວ້າງ! ພຣະອົງແມ່ນອົງອະທິປະຕີເຫນືອອົງອະທິປະຕີທັງປວງ, ເປັນຜູ້ປົກຄອງສູງສຸດ. ໂອ ພຣະນາຍ, ຂໍໃຫ້ພຣະສິຣິ ແລະພຣະອຳນາດຂອງພຣະອົງຈົ່ງເຈີຣິນຮຸ່ງເຮືອງ. ໂອ ອາດຕະມາແຫ່ງສັບພະສິ່ງ, ພຣະອົງແຕ່ຜູ້ດຽວແມ່ນເຫດແຫ່ງການເກີດ ແລະການດັບສູນຂອງໂລກທັງປວງ.”
संजय उवाच
The verse affirms Kṛṣṇa’s supreme lordship: he is the ruler even of rulers, the indwelling Self of all beings, and the ultimate cause of both creation (prabhava) and dissolution (apyaya). Ethically, it frames the battlefield narrative within a larger cosmic governance, implying that dharma and outcomes rest under a higher, all-pervading order.
Sañjaya, narrating events to Dhṛtarāṣṭra, breaks into a hymn-like address to Mādhava (Kṛṣṇa). In the midst of the Drona Parva’s war account, he recognizes Kṛṣṇa’s transcendent status and invokes his victorious flourishing, interpreting the unfolding conflict through devotion and divine supremacy.
