भीष्मशिबिरगमनम् — Duryodhana’s Visit to Bhīṣma’s Camp and the Command Appeal

ऑपन--माजल बछ। अ-छऋाज नवतितमो< ध्याय: इरावानके द्वारा शकुनिके भाइयोंका तथा राक्षस अलम्बुषके द्वारा इरावानका वध संजय उवाच वर्तमाने तथा रौद्रे राजन्‌ वीरवरक्षये । शकुनि: सौबल: श्रीमान्‌ पाण्डवान्‌ समुपाद्रवत्‌

sañjaya uvāca | vartamāne tathā raudre rājan vīravarakṣaye | śakuniḥ saubalaḥ śrīmān pāṇḍavān samupādravat ||

ສັນຊະຍະກ່າວວ່າ: «ຂໍໂອ ພຣະຣາຊາ, ໃນຂະນະທີ່ສົງຄາມອັນນ່າຢ້ານກົວນັ້ນ—ອັນນຳໄປສູ່ການພິນາດຂອງວີຣະຊົນຜູ້ເລີດ—ກຳລັງຄຸກຄາມຢູ່, ຊະກຸນິ ບຸດຂອງສຸບະລະ ຜູ້ມີກຽດສະຫງ່າ ໄດ້ບຸກໂຈມພານດະວະ. ຖ້ອຍຄຳນີ້ຊີ້ວ່າ ແມ່ນແຕ່ທ່າມກາງຄວາມພິນາດທົ່ວໄປຂອງສົງຄາມ, ການຕັດສິນໃຈ ແລະກົນລະຍຸດຂອງບຸກຄົນກໍຍັງຂັບເຄື່ອນຄວາມຂັດແຍ້ງໃຫ້ຮຸນແຮງຂຶ້ນ, ເພີ່ມນ້ຳໜັກທາງທຳໃຫ້ແກ່ການຮຸກຮານໃນເວລາທີ່ເຕັມໄປດ້ວຍການຂ້າຟັນ»។
