संजय उवाच
The verse highlights the surge of martial determination and anger in war, while invoking Kṛṣṇa’s presence as a moral counterweight—suggesting that even in justified conflict, one must remain mindful of dharma, self-control, and the higher order that governs outcomes.
Sanjaya reports a warrior’s declaration addressed to Kṛṣṇa (Janārdana/Yaduśreṣṭha): the speaker vows to annihilate the opposing fighters on the battlefield that very day, explicitly emphasizing that it will occur in Kṛṣṇa’s sight.
