भीष्मस्य मण्डलव्यूहः — Bhīṣma’s Maṇḍala Battle-Formation and the Opening Engagements
सो<पराह्ने महाराज संग्रामस्तुमुलो5भवत् । एकस्य च बहूनां च समेतानां रणाजिरे,महाराज! अपराह्नकालमें उस समरांगणमें एकत्र हुए बहुत-से वीरोंके साथ एक वीरका भयंकर युद्ध प्रारम्भ हुआ
so ’parāhṇe mahārāja saṅgrāmas tumulo ’bhavat | ekasya ca bahūnāṃ ca sametānāṃ raṇājire ||
ສັນຈະຍະ ກ່າວວ່າ: «ຂ້າແຕ່ພະມະຫາກະສັດ, ໃນຍາມບ່າຍປາຍວັນ ສົງຄາມໄດ້ຮຸນແຮງຢ່າງຫາທີ່ສຸດບໍ່ໄດ້. ຢູ່ໃນສະໜາມຮົບນັ້ນ ການປະລະກັນອັນນ່າຢ້ານກໍເລີ່ມຂຶ້ນ—ນັກຮົບຄົນດຽວຕໍ່ສູ້ກັບຫຼາຍຄົນທີ່ມາຊຸມນຸມກັນ».
