तस्य तत् सुमहत् कर्म शशंसु: कुरुसत्तमा: । यत् कृष्णाभ्यां समेताभ्यामभ्यापतत संयुगे,अश्वत्थामा युद्धभूमिमें जो श्रीकृष्ण और अर्जुन दोनोंका सामना करता रहा, उसके इस महान् कर्मकी श्रेष्ठ कौरवोंने बड़ी प्रशंसा की
tasya tat sumahat karma śaśaṃsuḥ kurusattamāḥ | yat kṛṣṇābhyāṃ sametābhyām abhyāpatata saṃyuge ||
