Educational Q&A

Adharma (unjust conduct) is not merely a moral fault but a causal force whose results become unavoidable and visible in time; the narrative frames the Kauravas’ suffering as the ripening of their wrongdoing, revealed through the overwhelming counter-force they face.

Sañjaya reports that Arjuna’s dense volleys of weapons fill the battlefield so completely that the sky, directions, earth, and even the sun seem obscured; this overwhelming spectacle is presented as the dreadful, tangible outcome of the Kaurava side’s unjust actions.
