अजुन उवाच
The verse frames the divine as the source of both inner virtues (contentment, nourishment, steadfast resolve) and cosmic brilliance (radiance that strengthens sun and moon), implying that ethical steadiness and worldly flourishing ultimately rest on a higher sustaining reality—even in the turmoil of war.
Arjuna, addressing the supreme form he is witnessing, enumerates divine attributes and cosmic functions, and notes that even celestial beings (Siddhas and Cāraṇas) are present as witnesses on the battlefield, underscoring the extraordinary, world-transcending nature of the moment.
