Babhruvāhana’s Lament and Appeal for Expiation (प्रायश्चित्त-याचना)
जिज्ञासुह्दोष पुत्रस्य बलस्य तव कौरव: । संग्रामे युद्धातो राजन्नागत: परवीरहा
jijñāsuḥ doṣa-putrasya balasya tava kauravaḥ | saṅgrāme yuddhato rājann āgataḥ paravīrahā ||
ໄວສັມປາຍະນະ ກ່າວວ່າ: «ໂອ ພະຣາຊາ, ເຈົ້າແມ່ນບຸດຂອງ ໂດສະ. ອາຣຊຸນ ຜູ້ປາບວີລະບຸລຸດສັດຕູ ແຫ່ງວົງກຸຣຸ ໄດ້ກັບມາຈາກສະໜາມຮົບ ຫຼັງຈາກຕໍ່ສູ້ ເພາະປາດຖະໜາຈະຮູ້ກໍາລັງ ແລະຄວາມກ້າຫານຂອງເຈົ້າ. ດັ່ງນັ້ນ ລູກທີ່ຮັກ, ຂ້າຈຶ່ງຊັກຊວນເຈົ້າໃຫ້ໄປສູ້ຮົບ. ລູກຜູ້ມີພະລັງ, ຢ່າໄດ້ຫວາດຫວັ່ນຕໍ່ບາບ ແມ່ນແຕ່ນ້ອຍນິດໃນເລື່ອງນີ້»។
