आकुमारं तदा राजन्नागमत् तत्पुरं विभो । द्रष्टकामं कुरुश्रेष्ठ प्रयास्यन्तं धनंजयम्
ā-kumāraṁ tadā rājann āgamat tat-puraṁ vibho | draṣṭu-kāmaṁ kuru-śreṣṭhaṁ prayāsyantaṁ dhanañjayam, janamejaya! prabho! |
ໄວສັມປາຍະນະ ກ່າວວ່າ: ໂອ ພະຣາຊາ, ໂອ ຜູ້ມີອານຸພາບ! ໃນເວລານັ້ນ ຊາວເມືອງຫັດສະຕິນາປຸຣະທັງໝົດ—ຕັ້ງແຕ່ເດັກນ້ອຍຈົນເຖົ້າແກ່—ພາກັນຫຼັ່ງໄຫຼອອກມາ ດ້ວຍຄວາມປາຖະໜາຈະເຫັນ ທະນັນຊະຍະ ອະຣະຊຸນ ຜູ້ເລີດລ້ຳໃນວົງກຸຣຸ ໃນຂະນະທີ່ລາວກຳລັງອອກເດີນທາງ.
