Steady, rule-guided worship performed with purity (vidhivat, śucinā, satataṁ) is presented as a basis for receiving śreyaḥ—true welfare. The verse links ethical-ritual discipline with divine/authoritative guidance and urges prompt obedience to right instruction.
The speaking Horse addresses a brāhmaṇa (called Bhṛgunandana), acknowledges his continual, proper, and pure worship, and promises to secure his welfare. It then commands him to carry out the given instructions without delay.
