ພະວາຍຸເທວະກ່າວວ່າ: «ສຽງ, ການສຳຜັດ, ແລະ ຮູບຮ່າງ—ເຫຼົ່ານີ້ຖືກຈື່ຈຳວ່າເປັນຄຸນລັກສະນະຂອງສານທີ່ເປັນນ້ຳ (ຂອງເຫຼວ)».
