भयमोहपरीवारं भूतसम्मोहकारकम्‌ | आनन्दप्रीतिचारं च कामक्रोधपरिग्रहम्‌

Transliteration

bhaya-moha-parīvāraṃ bhūta-sammohakārakam | ānanda-prīti-cāraṃ ca kāma-krodha-parigraham

Translation

Vāyu-deva said: “It is surrounded by fear and delusion, and it becomes a cause of bewilderment for living beings. It moves about in the guise of joy and affection, yet it is in fact seized by desire and anger.”
