कि तत्र संविधातव्यं भवतां स्याद्धितं तु यत् । श्रेय:प्रसाधनं मन््ये कश्यपस्य महात्मन:
ki tatra saṁvidhātavyaṁ bhavatāṁ syāddhitaṁ tu yat | śreyaḥ-prasādhanaṁ manye kaśyapasya mahātmanaḥ ||
«ດັ່ງນັ້ນ ໃນສະພາບນີ້ ຄວນເຮັດຢ່າງໃດ—ສິ່ງໃດຈຶ່ງເປັນປະໂຫຍດແທ້ແກ່ພວກເຈົ້າ? ຕາມຄໍາເຫັນຂອງຂ້າ ເສັ້ນທາງທີ່ໝັ້ນຄົງທີ່ສຸດໄປສູ່ຄວາມຜາສຸກ ແມ່ນການໄດ້ຮັບຄວາມໂປດປານຂອງມະຫາຈິດ ກັສຍະປະ».
शेष उवाच
In moments of uncertainty, one should choose the course that is truly beneficial (hita) and leads to lasting welfare (śreyas); here, that is framed as respectfully seeking the goodwill of a venerable authority, Kaśyapa.
Śeṣa offers counsel about the proper response to a difficult situation, proposing that the best practical and ethical step is to propitiate and please the great sage Kaśyapa, implying that his favor will resolve or ease the crisis.
