Garuḍa–Śakra Saṃvāda and the Retrieval of Amṛta (गरुड–शक्र संवादः अमृत-अपहरण-प्रसङ्गः)
कश्यप उवाच पुत्र मा साहसं कार्षी्मा सद्यो लप्स्यसे व्यथाम् | मा त्वां दहेयु: संक्रुद्धा वालखिल्या मरीचिपा:
kaśyapa uvāca putra mā sāhasaṁ kārṣīḥ mā sadyo lapsyase vyathām | mā tvāṁ daheyuḥ saṁkruddhā vālakhilyā marīcipāḥ ||
ກັດສະຍະປະກ່າວວ່າ: “ລູກເອີຍ ຢ່າເຮັດການບ້າບິ່ນຫຼືຫານກ້າໂດຍບໍ່ຄິດ; ບໍ່ຊ້າເຈົ້າຈະຕົກໃນທຸກຂ໌ອັນໜັກ. ຢ່າໄປກະຕຸ້ນໃຫ້ພວກລະສີວາລະຂິລຍະ—ຜູ້ດື່ມກະແສແສງຕາເວັນ—ໂກດ; ຖ້າເຂົາໂກດ ອາດເຜົາເຈົ້າໃຫ້ເປັນຂີ້ເທົ່າ”។
कश्यप उवाच
Reckless action invites immediate suffering; ethical restraint and respect toward powerful ascetics are essential, since their anger—born of tapas—can bring swift consequences.
Kashyapa cautions his son against a rash deed and warns that the Vālakhilya sages, famed as ‘drinkers of the Sun’s rays,’ if provoked, may incinerate him in their wrath.
