FAQs

It links Liṅga-pratiṣṭhā (installation) with completion of the rite through brāhmaṇa-bhojana and disciplined worship in Śiva’s sanctum, emphasizing that correct procedure (vidhi) and sacred offering finalize the act.

Śiva is indicated as both the approached Lord (Pati) and as ‘Śivam’—auspiciousness itself—implying that turning toward Śiva is simultaneously turning toward the supreme good that liberates the paśu from pāśa.

Ritually, it highlights Liṅga installation followed by brāhmaṇa-feeding and worship in the Śiva-sthāna according to vidhi; yogically, it points to ‘āsādya’—the inner approach to Pati after completing outer observances.
