Though genealogical, the verse upholds satya (truth) as a dharmic foundation—an inner purity essential for Shiva-puja, where the devotee approaches Pati (Shiva) with truthful speech and intent.
Indirectly, it reflects Shiva-tattva as the ground of dharma: truthfulness and inner integrity (satya) are marks of alignment with Pati, loosening pasha (bondage) that binds the pashu (soul).
No explicit ritual is stated; the implied sādhana is satya-vrata—truth as a yama-like discipline—supporting steadiness in japa, puja, and Pashupata-oriented self-restraint.
