Suta (narrating an internal instruction to Shakteya)
It presents Shiva-arcana (often centered on the Linga) as a direct remedial act: worship of Sarveshvara dissolves hostile forces like Rakshasas and establishes divine protection.
Shiva is invoked as Sarveshvara—the supreme Pati who stands beyond the fluctuations of the three worlds; refuge in Him makes worldly offenses powerless over the devotee.
Arcana (formal worship) of Shiva is emphasized as the practical discipline; in Shaiva terms it aligns the pashu (soul) with Pati, weakening pasha (bondage) expressed as fear, hostility, and affliction.
