जम्बूद्वीपस्य नववर्षविभागः रुद्रस्य अष्टक्षेत्रसन्निधिः नाभि-ऋषभ-भरतकथा
इति श्रीलिङ्गमहापुराणे पूर्वभागे भुवनकोशे द्वीपद्वीपेश्वरकथनं नाम षट्चत्वारिंशो ऽध्यायः सूत उवाच आग्नीध्रं ज्येष्ठदायादं काम्यपुत्रं महाबलम् प्रियव्रतो ऽभ्यषिञ्चद्वै जंबूद्वीपेश्वरं नृपः

ດັ່ງນີ້ ໃນ «ສຣີ ລິງຄະ ມະຫາປຸຣານະ» (Śrī Liṅga Mahāpurāṇa) ພາກຕົ້ນ ໃນພາກ ພຸວະນະໂກສະ (Bhuvanakośa) ບົດທີ່ຊື່ «ການກ່າວເຖິງທະວີບ ແລະເຈົ້າແຫ່ງທະວີບ» ສູຕະ (Sūta) ກ່າວວ່າ: ກະສັດ ປຣິຍະວຣະຕະ (Priyavrata) ໄດ້ປະພອມອະພິເສກ ແກ່ ອາກນີດຣະ (Āgnīdhra) ຜູ້ເປັນທາຍາດອາວຸໂສ ບຸດຂອງ ກາມຍາ (Kāmyā) ຜູ້ມີພະລັງຫຼາຍ ໃຫ້ເປັນເຈົ້າແຫ່ງ ຊັມບູດວີປ (Jambūdvīpa).

It frames sacred geography and righteous sovereignty as part of the cosmic order upheld under Pati (Śiva); such cosmological mapping supports pilgrimage, temple jurisdiction, and dharmic rule that ultimately culminate in Liṅga-centered devotion.
