अध्याय १०१: हैमवती-तपः, तारकवंश-उत्पातः, स्कन्द-प्रत्याशा, मदनदहनम्

यदा विष्णुश् च भविता वासुदेवो महायशाः शापाद्भृगोर्महातेजाः सर्वलोकहिताय वै

yadā viṣṇuś ca bhavitā vāsudevo mahāyaśāḥ śāpādbhṛgormahātejāḥ sarvalokahitāya vai

ເມື່ອດ້ວຍຄຳສາບແຊ່ງອັນແຮງກ້າຂອງພຣະພຣຶກຸ ຜູ້ມີຣັດສະມີໃຫຍ່, ພຣະວິສນຸ—ຜູ້ມີກຽດຍົດກວ້າງໃຫຍ່—ປາກົດເປັນວາສຸເທວ, ນັ້ນແທ້ໆເພື່ອປະໂຫຍດແກ່ໂລກທັງປວງ. ນັກປັນຍາຮູ້ວ່າ ການອະວະຕານີ້ເກີດຂຶ້ນພາຍໃຕ້ອຳນາດຂອງພຣະປະຕິ ພຣະສິວະ, ຜູ້ປ່ຽນແມ່ນແຕ່ຄຳສາບໃຫ້ເປັນທາງເພື່ອໂລກະຫິຕະ ແລະເພື່ອຄາຍພາຊະຂອງສັດຜູ້ມີກາຍ.
