ऽध्यायः सूत उवाच / वासुदेवं गुरुं नत्वा गणं शम्भुं सरस्वतीम् / मात्रावर्णप्रभेदेन च्छन्दो वक्ष्ये ऽल्पबुद्धये

ສູຕະກ່າວວ່າ: ຂ້າພະເຈົ້ານົບນ້ອມຕໍ່ ວາສຸເທວະ ຜູ້ເປັນຄູອາຈານສູງສຸດ; ຕໍ່ ຄະນະ (ຄະເນຊະ), ຕໍ່ ຊັມພູ (ຊິວະ), ແລະ ສະຣັສວະຕີ. ແລ້ວຂ້າພະເຈົ້າຈະກ່າວວິຊາຈັນທະ (chandas) ດ້ວຍການແຍກແຍະມາຕຣາ ແລະ ວັນນະ ເພື່ອປະໂຫຍດແກ່ຜູ້ປັນຍານ້ອຍ.
