Hiraṇyakaśipu summons prominent asuras—Dvimūrdhan, Tryakṣa, Śambara, Śatabāhu, Hayagrīva, Namuci, Pāka, and Ilvala—calling them to hear his orders.
He was preparing to organize and intensify his anti-Viṣṇu agenda, which soon turns into direct persecution of his devotee-son Prahlāda.
It shows how leadership can mobilize groups toward a goal—therefore one should choose guidance rooted in dharma, since organization without righteousness becomes harmful.
