सीताकथाश्रवणदीपितहृच्छयेन सृष्टं विलोक्य नृपते दशकन्धरेण । जघ्नेऽद्भ‍ुतैणवपुषाश्रमतोऽपकृष्टो मारीचमाशु विशिखेन यथा कमुग्र: ॥ १० ॥

sītā-kathā-śravaṇa-dīpita-hṛc-chayena sṛṣṭaṁ vilokya nṛpate daśa-kandhareṇa jaghne ’dbhutaiṇa-vapuṣāśramato ’pakṛṣṭo mārīcam āśu viśikhena yathā kam ugraḥ

ໂອ ພະຣາຊາ, ເມື່ອທົດສະກັນ ໄດ້ຍິນກ່ຽວກັບຄວາມງາມຂອງ ນາງສີດາ, ລາວກໍ່ເກີດຕັນຫາ. ເພື່ອລໍ້ລວງ ພະຣາມ, ລາວໄດ້ສົ່ງ ມານຮ້າຍ ໃນຮູບຮ່າງຂອງ ກວາງຄຳ. ພະຣາມ ໄດ້ໄລ່ຕາມ ແລະ ຂ້າກວາງນັ້ນ ດ້ວຍລູກສອນ, ເໝືອນດັ່ງ ພະສິວະ ຂ້າ ທ້າວທັກສະ.
