This verse describes Rukmiṇī as ananyaviṣayā—her heart fixed on Kṛṣṇa alone—showing that exclusive devotion is single-pointed love for the Lord without competing attachments.
Seeing her overwhelmed with sorrow and tears, Kṛṣṇa compassionately consoled her by drawing her close, reassuring His devoted queen through affectionate, personal care.
It teaches both steadiness in devotion (keeping the Lord as one’s primary shelter) and compassionate conduct—comforting sincere devotees when they are distressed.
