This verse states that the women were “protected by the arms of Kṛṣṇa and Saṅkarṣaṇa,” indicating Bhagavān’s active guardianship that restores devotees’ peace and well-being.
Saṅkarṣaṇa here refers to Balarāma, Kṛṣṇa’s elder brother, celebrated for strength and for supporting Kṛṣṇa’s pastimes and protection of the devotees.
By repeatedly bringing the mind to Kṛṣṇa—through nāma-japa, kīrtana, and remembrance—inner “fever” like anxiety and grief is gradually calmed and redirected into devotion.
