इत्यादिष्टा भगवता गत्वायाचन्त ते तथा । कृताञ्जलिपुटा विप्रान्दण्डवत्पतिता भुवि ॥ ५ ॥
ity ādiṣṭā bhagavatā gatvā yācanta te tathā kṛtāñjali-puṭā viprān daṇḍa-vat patitā bhuvi

This verse shows devotees approaching respectfully—hands folded and offering full obeisances—expressing humility while making a request connected to the Lord’s service.
In this pastime, Kṛṣṇa has them approach the brāhmaṇas to request food and reveal that ritual status without devotion can miss the Lord’s intention, while sincere devotion is honored.
Approach teachers, elders, and sacred duties with humility and sincerity—offer respect, speak politely, and let your requests be aligned with service and dharma rather than ego.
