The Sun’s Function and Vishnu’s Vedic Śakti within Savitṛ

Sage Parāśara (addressing Maitreya)
In this verse, Vaiṣṇavī śakti is presented as Viṣṇu’s sustaining potency that does not withdraw, symbolizing the continuous divine governance that stabilizes the cosmos.
Parāśara states that Viṣṇu’s power remains established and presiding upon the radiant celestial principle, enduring month after month—indicating an ordered, time-regulated universe upheld by divine authority.
Viṣṇu is implied as the Supreme sovereign whose śakti permanently sustains cosmic structure, aligning with Vaiṣṇava theology where the universe depends on His abiding power rather than random motion.
