ārādhya varadaṃ viṣṇum iṣṭaprāptim asaṃśayam sameti nānyathā martyaḥ kim anyat kathayāmi vaḥ

Vishishtadvaita: The Lord is both the supreme giver (śeṣin) and the reachable refuge; attainment is certain through devotion because the jīva’s fulfillment depends on His grace and lordship.
Vishnu Form: Para-Brahman
Bhakti Type: shanta
Jagat Karana: Yes
This verse presents Vishnu as the reliable granter of boons, affirming that devotion to him leads certainly (asaṃśaya) to the attainment of one’s rightful desired goal.
Parāśara frames Vishnu-worship as an unfailing cause: once Vishnu is propitiated, the mortal ‘reaches’ the desired attainment—“not otherwise”—underscoring the dependability of divine sovereignty.
Vishnu is portrayed as the supreme authority over results and fulfillment, highlighting a Vaishnava view where grace and lordship guarantee the fruition of sincere devotion.
