ಓ ದೇವರೆ, ಅವನ ಚೂಡಾಕರಣವನ್ನು ಮಿತ್ರ-ವರುಣರ ಪುತ್ರನಾದ ಬ್ರಾಹ್ಮಣನು ನೆರವೇರಿಸಿದನು. ಒಂಬತ್ತು ವರ್ಷದಾಗಿದ್ದಾಗ ಅವನ ವ್ರತಬಂಧನ (ಉಪನಯನ)ವೂ ನಡೆಯಿತು; ಮತ್ತು ಅವನು ವೇದ ಹಾಗೂ ಶಾಸ್ತ್ರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಧಿಯ ಪಾರಗತನಾದನು.
