ततो ऽग्निमध्यादुत्तस्थौ पुरुषो रौद्रदर्शनः व्यद्रावयत् स तान् यक्षान् खङ्गपाणिर्भयङ्करः

ನಂತರ ಅಗ್ನಿಯ ಮಧ್ಯದಿಂದ ರುದ್ರಸಮಾನ ಭಯಂಕರ ದರ್ಶನದ ಒಬ್ಬ ಪುರುಷನು ಎದ್ದು ನಿಂತನು; ಖಡ್ಗವನ್ನು ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹಿಡಿದು, ಭಯಾನಕನಾಗಿ ಆ ಯಕ್ಷರನ್ನು ಓಡಿಸಿದನು।
