एष क्रमस्ते गदितो नभादौ स्वपने मुने स्वपत्सु तत्र देवेषु प्रावृट्कालः समाययौ

ಹೇ ಮುನೇ, ನಭಸ್ ಮಾಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಶಯನದ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ಈ ಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ನಿನಗೆ ಹೇಳಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಅಲ್ಲಿ ದೇವತೆಗಳು ನಿದ್ರಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವಾಗಲೇ ಪ್ರಾವೃಟ್‌ಕಾಲ, ಅಂದರೆ ಮಳೆಯ ಋತುವಿನ ಆರಂಭ, ಆಗಮಿಸಿತು।
