va̱yáṃ te̍ a̱dyá rarimā́ hí kā́mam uttā̱ná-hastā̍ḥ námaso̱pasádya | yájiṣṭhena̱ mánasā yakṣi devā́n asre̍dhatā̱ mánmanā̱ vípro agne

Translation

ನಾವು ಇಂದು ಕೂಡ ನಿನಗೆ ನಮ್ಮ ಕಾಮನೆಯನ್ನು ಅರ್ಪಿಸಿದ್ದೇವೆ; ಕೈಗಳನ್ನು ಚಾಚಿ, ನಮಸ್ಕಾರದಿಂದ ಸಮೀಪಿಸಿದ್ದೇವೆ. ಯಜ್ಞಕ್ಕೆ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಯೋಗ್ಯವಾದ ಮನಸ್ಸಿನಿಂದ ನೀನು ದೇವರನ್ನು ಯಜಿಸು; ಅಶ್ರಾಂತ ಚಿಂತನೆಯಿಂದ, ಹೇ ವಿಪ್ರ ಅಗ್ನಿ!
