Departure to the Battlefield and the Śaiva Overlordship over the Devas

Lord Shiva (Īśvara)
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Sadāśiva
The verse teaches that Śiva’s grace is drawn by satya (truthfulness) and integrity: even a desire for power becomes purified when aligned with truth, and the Lord then bestows honor and elevated spiritual standing.
In Saguna worship, the devotee approaches Śiva as a personal Lord who responds to virtues like truth and devotion; the Linga symbolizes that sovereign Lordship (īśatva) from whom honor, protection, and spiritual elevation flow by grace.
Practice satya alongside daily Śiva-upāsanā—japa of the Pañcākṣarī (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) with a truthful, disciplined vow (vrata), offering worship with reverence to cultivate Śiva’s prasāda (grace).
