The verse teaches that dharma and tapas generate tejas (spiritual radiance) that harmonizes the environment—so even naturally violent forces become non-injurious in a sanctified space, reflecting Shaiva Siddhanta’s emphasis on purity, discipline, and grace.

Maintain a consecrated daily practice—japa of the Panchakshara (Om Namaḥ Śivāya), Tripundra (bhasma) with devotion, and disciplined conduct—so the mind and surroundings become non-hostile and steady for meditation.
