ಹೇ ಇಂದ್ರ, ನಾವು ಸುಷ್ವಾಣರು—ಯಥಾವಿಧಿ ಸೋಮವನ್ನು ಪಿಷಿದು ಹೊರತಂದವರು—ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಸ್ತುತಿಸುತ್ತೇವೆ; ನಾವು, ಸಂಪಾದನೆ ಬಯಸುವವರು, ಮಹಾಪರಾಕ್ರಮಿಯಾದ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಬಲಪ್ರಾಪ್ತಿಗಾಗಿ ಸ್ತವಿಸುತ್ತೇವೆ. ನಮಗೆ ಸುವಿತ (ಕಲ್ಯಾಣ)ವನ್ನು ತಂದುಕೊಡು; ಅದರ ಮೂಲಕ ನಿನ್ನ ನೆರವಿನಿಂದ ನಾವು ಸಂತಾನದೊಡನೆ ಮತ್ತು ನಮ್ಮದೇ ಆತ್ಮಬಲದಿಂದ ಶತ್ರುಗಳನ್ನು ಜಯಿಸೋಣ.
